Our general observation is that the needs of country communities differ significantly from those of people who live in cities.
Typically, in a country community, people do not have access to a range of community support services and infrastructure that urban dwellers enjoy.
Based in country communities in the Adelaide Hills and surrounds, members of our church became acutely aware of the needs of regional families, especially young families, where issues such as isolation and lack of access to public transport can lead to disadvantage and difficulty. From this awareness and a desire to contribute to the needs of others, the Country Life organisations were designed and Incorporated to help meet the needs of families in the region.
