Emmanuel Christian Outreach

Our Purpose

  • To Worship Jesus Christ as Lord
  • To Grow as His Disciples
  • To Communicate His Love

Ministry

Ephesians 4:11-13 says: "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

At Emmanuel Christian Outreach we believe that the people are the ministers - the pastors are the administers. Ministry is service, and as we serve one another in the church, it builds up the body of Christ. We are also called to show the Love of God through service to our community.

Worship

Worship incorporates all that we do.

Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is true worship."

We worship God to show him his worth. Our worship services are contemporary and pentecostal.

Discipleship

We are called to be Christ's disciples and as such we take discipleship seriously. Through a series of studies, we see new believers come to know Christ and the fullness of what he has accomplished for us.

The "Discovery" series helps to do this through "Discovering Church Partnership", "Discovering Spiritual Maturity", and "Discovering My Ministry".

We also use small groups called "GO Groups" to help us to continually grow and share the good things God has done in our lives.

Outreach

As our name suggests, outreach is an important aspect of our calling as a Church. We have a strong missions focus and are continually seeking the Lord for ways to share his goodness in our community locally and overseas. This has led to the development in 2007 of two new community service organisations, Country Life Community Care Inc, and Country Life Compassion Inc.
