Country Life Community Care's parent corporate body, Emanuel Christian Schools Ministry was first established in 1978 and the organisation has an outstanding record of successful project development and management that commenced with the opening of its first school in Strathalbyn in 1991.
Emmanuel Christian Schools and Ministries oversees two schools and four non-profit organisations including Country Life Community Care. Member organisations work collaboratively and contribute to a common pool of governance, administration and managment expertise under the leadership of Emanuel Christian Schools and Ministries Inc. Emmanuel Christian Schools and Ministries currently manages approximately $9 million of assets (buildings and land) with an annual turnover of $4 million. Financial management is audited annually, and the group reports to Commonwealth and state authorities for funds received.
Country Life Community Care is an incorporated association that benefits from the governance, management and financial leverage that the Emmanuel Christian Schools and Ministries group is able to provide. Country Life Community Care is governed by a Board of Directors with day to day management to be provided by a Management Committee.
Pastor Lewis McMaster will serve as project manager for the development of the Community Centre and will continue as CEO. Lew has significant project management experience via the Australian Army, managing his own company, McMaster Consulting Pty Ltd and as Chairman for Emmanuel Christian Schools and Ministries.
